Sometimes, the message gets lost in translation. Here are a few of our favorite signs, to be updated as we go:

I’m not sure why the sign says “No Parking” (E for estacionar – parking in Spanish) since it’s obviously possible …

Ladies, don’t trust the chicheria.

… unless you lift with your legs, not your back.

Just go elsewhere.

If that light turns red, it’s already too late.

It can hardly catch at all, and you don’t want it to throw anything back at you.
… because this door is too close to outside ?
…it’s what’s for dinner.
But seriously, it’s a bad idea to flush the chain. Don’t try this at home.
