Welcome to the Journey of the Jackalope, our blog dedicated to sharing our travel adventures as a family over the next year. Join us as we explore new destinations, experience different cultures, and explore. Our blog is a platform to document our journey, and connect with all our friends and family back home. We are a family of 4: Neil (13), Tim (11), Carol (small animal vet), and Logan (neurologist). We are taking a one year hiatus from the usual routine to travel and explore the world as a family. Are we bold explorers bucking the norm? Are we crazy people? We don’t know, but we are about to find out. Come along with us and be part of our journey!

p.s. – what’s with the name “The Journey of The Jackalope?” We’ve been lucky enough to spend the last many years rafting the rivers of western Colorado and Utah, and our raft is named “The Jolly Jackalope.” The jackalope has been a kind of family logo for years now.
